Our residential work covers a variety of scales from new houses through to small interventions. We work with the client to discover and develop the potential of each project. Clear strong forms animate and identify our projects. Tight construction budgets can benefit from identifying focus elements of the scheme. We have worked with all types of housing and are very experienced. Our low energy experience is continually expanding with a current hyper-insulated project in Vermont, USA.

Retail design, office/ flat development proposals, and a wide variety of other building types make up our commercial expertise. We are experienced with the constraints of awkward inner city sites and how to get the most out of them for developers. Energy use, particularly daylight design for offices are areas of particular expertise (Phd research). These aspects we bring to our commercial clients. We are a RIBA award winning practice and have been widely published.

We have produced some interesting Exhibition Design for clients. This has been due to a great expertise based on years of producing our own exhibitions worldwide. We were invited in 2000 to design the structure of a show garden for Chelsea Flower Show. This was built in two weeks for this important show. This innovative garden won a coveted Gold Medal. Inexpensive furniture based components made up our designs for stands at London Fashion Week and 100% Design, London. Although ease of assembly and cost were constraints for such temporary shows, we achieved striking results. We are looking for more challenges in this area, particularly museum work.
